Georgina Amos studied her BA at Chelsea College of Art, MFA at the Slade School of Fine Art where she is currently PhD candidate. Her work has been exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, including: Sharing Borders, Slade Research Centre, London, 2019; Chapter II, Austin Forum, London, 2017; Simulacrum, Moon Gallery, Hong Kong, 2011; and The Uneasy Landscape, Fold Gallery, London, 2010.  Awards include: the Threadneedle Prize for Painting, (finalist, 2010/11); Claire Winsten Award 2010/11;  the Painter-Stainer Prize 2009 & 2009, John Moores Painting Prize 2008 (selected for exhibition) and Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2005 (finalist). Her work is in a number or private and public collections, including the University of the Arts London, and University of Cambridge.
